When to call
A plumbing or heating emergency is anything that puts your home or your health at immediate risk: burst pipes, sewer backups, major water leaks, no water pressure, flooding, or no heat in a Minnesota winter. When in doubt, call. We would rather help you assess it than have you deal with damage that could have been prevented.
Before we get there
If a pipe bursts
- Shut off the main water valve to stop the damage.
- For a burst pipe or a major leak, turn off the water heater too.
- Move valuables out of the way if you can.
- Leave the repair to us. Anything past the shutoffs can make it worse. Then call.
If the pipes freeze
- Don’t use an open flame to thaw them. It is a fire hazard.
- Shut off the main water valve in case a pipe has cracked.
- Call us. We thaw frozen pipes safely with professional equipment and check for breaks the freeze left behind.
If the water heater leaks
- Treat it as urgent. A leak can get worse quickly.
- Turn off the cold water supply to the water heater.
- Call us right away.
If you smell gas or see fire, leave the house and call 911 first. Then call us.

From the guest book
We had an issue (of course it was on the weekend) that left us without water in our house. Called these folks late on a Saturday and they came after church the next day. The tech was friendly and did the work needed. We are extremely happy with the repair and will use them in the future if/when we have issues.
Glad to have someone respond so promotly when we had an emergency on a Saturday morning. Everything got fixed up and we were back in action with our water up and running. I would recommend for sure. We asked to get a bid on some other plumbing jobs and will have him come out next week.
We had an unexpected issue with our water heater late on a Friday night and they were able to get someone out to us that same evening. The technician was great to work with, quickly diagnosed the issue and got everything back up and running. We really appreciated the responsiveness and willingness to help us out after hours. Highly recommend!
Hands down the best service experience we have had! Running into plumbing problems over a long weekend is a nightmare, but God’s Country Plumbing stepped up and saved the day. Special thanks to Zach, who was awesome to work with, super genuine, knowledgeable, and efficient. Not only did he get everything fixed fast, but he also explained what caused the issue in the first place and walked me through how he resolved it. Five stars all the way. I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable help.
Reply from God’s CountryThank you for taking the time to write this heartfelt review Shubham! It was our pleasure getting you back up and going!
Questions
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes. Plumbing and heating emergencies don’t keep business hours, and neither do we. Nights, weekends and holidays included.
