Plumbing and heating for the Brainerd Lakes
Furnaces, boilers, water heaters, softeners and air conditioning, for homes and cabins from Baxter to Crosslake. Emergency service 24 hours a day, nights, weekends and holidays included.

When the furnace quits
Furnaces, boilers, heat pumps and water heaters, installed, repaired and serviced, all makes and models. If your heat stops working, call right away. In winter, heat emergencies come first.
Got to our cabin and furnace was out. Called Gods Country in the morning. They showed up in a couple hours and furnace was running by noon. Definitely would call them again.

When the water freezes
The lakes freeze over every winter, and a cold snap can freeze a pipe just as fast. Frozen and burst pipes are one of the most common emergencies we handle, day or night. We also fix leaks, clear drains and replace pipe of every kind, from galvanized to copper to PEX.
Zach was great, knowledgeable and friendly. He got the job done and we love the new frost free spigot he installed for us.

What’s in the water
Water around here often carries hardness, iron and minerals that wear on your plumbing and your appliances. We test it for free, then fit the right softener, filter or iron removal, and treat well water for rural homes.
Great company to work with! Hands on and keeps your end goals in mind. Recommend anyone looking for a good plumber or water treatment company, this is your spot!

Air conditioning and heat pumps
Central air installed, tuned up and repaired, and ductless mini-split heat pumps that cool the cabin in summer and keep it warm through a Minnesota winter. One recent job: a Lennox mini-split for a lake home just outside Crosslake.
Zach and Sean installed three mini split units for me this week. They did a great job working endlessly in the heat to get it done so we could be cool that evening. Highly recommend them for any job you need completed.

Day or night
Emergency service runs 24 hours a day, nights, weekends and holidays included. The office is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. Call, or tell our assistant what happened and it will pass the details to the team.
Words cant describe how appreciative I am of this company. Zachary was amazing and I will for sure be calling back whenever I need anything plumbing related. Emily was awesome on a Sunday answering my 3 or 4 calls and she even had one of their plumbers call me later that day to talk me through some things ! They rock !

We had an unexpected issue with our water heater late on a Friday night and they were able to get someone out to us that same evening. The technician was great to work with, quickly diagnosed the issue and got everything back up and running. We really appreciated the responsiveness and willingness to help us out after hours. Highly recommend!

Hands down the best service experience we have had! Running into plumbing problems over a long weekend is a nightmare, but God’s Country Plumbing stepped up and saved the day. Special thanks to Zach, who was awesome to work with, super genuine, knowledgeable, and efficient. Not only did he get everything fixed fast, but he also explained what caused the issue in the first place and walked me through how he resolved it. Five stars all the way. I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable help.
Reply from God’s CountryThank you for taking the time to write this heartfelt review Shubham! It was our pleasure getting you back up and going!
A previous job took longer than expected but they kept me informed of the delay so I wasn't kept wondering when they would arrive. Zack installed my water softener and filled it with salt. He took away my old one so I didn't have to dispose of it. He fixed my bathtub drain. To get to it he had to cut thru a wall. After installing the panel to cover the hole in the sheet rock he took the time to vacuum up the sheetrock dust.
Zack was friendly...personable and professional. Great to work with. I highly recommend.
Reply from God’s CountryChris, we so appreciate your flexibility! You are such a joy to work with!
Before we get there
What to do while you wait, from the plumbers who answer these calls.
If a pipe bursts
- Shut off the main water valve to stop the damage.
- For a burst pipe or a major leak, turn off the water heater too.
- Move valuables out of the way if you can.
- Leave the repair to us. Anything past the shutoffs can make it worse. Then call.
If the pipes freeze
- Don’t use an open flame to thaw them. It is a fire hazard.
- Shut off the main water valve in case a pipe has cracked.
- Call us. We thaw frozen pipes safely with professional equipment and check for breaks the freeze left behind.
If the water heater leaks
- Treat it as urgent. A leak can get worse quickly.
- Turn off the cold water supply to the water heater.
- Call us right away.
If you smell gas or see fire, leave the house and call 911 first. Then call us.
