Signs it needs repair
- Warm air blowing from the vents.
- Weak airflow.
- Unusual noises: grinding, squealing or banging.
- The system cycling on and off too often.
- Ice forming on the unit.
- Energy bills higher than normal.
What to expect
A good rule of thumb: if a repair would cost more than half the value of a new system, or the unit is 10 to 15 years old, replacement usually makes more financial sense. We will always give you an honest recommendation, not the more expensive one.

Do you service all brands?
Yes. We service all the major residential brands, including Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman and Bryant, on older and modern systems.
How often should my AC be tuned up?
Once a year, in the spring, before the cooling season. It extends the life of the system, improves efficiency and catches small problems early.
Should I repair or replace my AC?
If the repair costs more than half the value of a new system, or the unit is 10 to 15 years old, replacement often makes more sense. We’ll give you an honest recommendation either way.
What is a ductless mini-split?
A high-efficiency heat pump with no ductwork: an outdoor unit and one or more indoor heads. It cools the cabin in summer and helps keep it warm through a Minnesota winter.
